The International Classical Music Alliance (ICMA) proudly presented the 2025 Festival from July 20 to 26 at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. This week-long celebration united musicians, scholars, and educators from around the world for a transformative artistic experience — featuring daily masterclasses, an international academic conference, and inspiring public performances.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The International Classical Music Alliance Festival 2025 was hosted at Pepperdine University, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The festival combined artistic excellence and academic depth, providing an immersive environment for growth and exchange.

Venue Description: Nestled on a hillside campus overlooking the Pacific, Pepperdine University offered world-class facilities, concert halls, rehearsal studios, and comfortable residence halls.

Masterclasses

The ICMA Festival 2025 featured daily masterclasses in piano, strings, chamber music, and voice. Each participant received three individual 60-minute lessons and participated in open studio sessions with renowned professors.

Academic Conference

Under the theme “The Future of Classical Music Education,” the conference gathered scholars to present papers and lead discussions on:

Keynote lectures, panel talks, and interactive sessions encouraged dialogue between academics and performing artists.

Venue: Steinway & Sons Los Angeles
The festival concluded with a magnificent final concert showcasing participants and faculty on one stage. Audiences enjoyed an evening of exceptional performances spanning Baroque to Contemporary works.
